The
energy was high, the night was clear
and the LOVE filled the streets of Grove Hall.
About
500 people stood up, spoke out and took back a community that has
claimed the lives of many young people on
Monday, September 11th.
The
Coleman and Taylor family and the HT3 Peace Network
would like to thank you for your participation in
making this historical event a huge success.

Reflection
September 18, 2007 - Freedom House
6:30pm
THE
HT3 PEACE NETWORK
The family of Herman Taylor III - the city's 37th victim of gun
violence on July 12, 2006 - and a growing network of concerned citizens
is organizing the second annual march and rally to:
- Bring awareness,
peace and healing to neighborhoods impacted by violence
- Send a message
about the critical need for peace and solidarity in communities
terrorized by violence on America's streets.
- Reach out
to youth and families who have lost loved ones to violence to
get involved in transforming their communities
MESSAGE
FROM THE HT3 PEACE NETWORK
We can no longer tolerate living in a country where we stand idly
by, while we cannot sit peacefully on our porches, walk peacefully
to the corner store, or play peacefully in front of our homes. The
hour of day was chosen for maximum visibility as people commute
home and to underscore the point that people's lives - from grieving
families to frustrated officials - are being interrupted more each
day as the issues feeding this problem continue to escalate.
SPEAKERS
Civic, community, and business leaders
Peace advocates from all cultures, communities, and walks of life
Families from around the region who have been impacted by violence
